This is Thursday, right? No one has started a Friday Art Show yet?

    OK, I will.

I have two Desk Top Art Works to show off this week. The first one is an ordered car. It is #40, a Dodge sedan with a Hemi motor. This all steel hand formed Art work features a lift off hood and a 3 carbed Hemi. It measures 10" long, 4" wide and 3 1/2" high. It will be on it's way to CA shortly to the hands of its new owner, Rustyredram.

The second Desk Top Art Work is # 41, a hi boy duece roadster with a multi carbed flat head. This one is the first car for of the last 4 or 5 that was not an ordered car and is not spoken for. Look for it soon in the cl***ifieds. It measures 8 3/4" long, 4" wide and is 4" high. It comes with a detailed frame featuring a front drop axle on a buggy spring with hair pins. The rear axle is also on a buggy spring with hair pins. The 4 carbs are mounted cross wise on the flat head with a Lakes style headers. This one was fun to build. If you can't afford to build the real thing, (which I can't) this is getting pretty close. Gene

And my first car pinstriped in the USA (I'm french), an Hamber car, carartNICK's Chevy, in Green Bay, during the 50's fest at the Oneida casino.

I realized afterwards that the design is a little bit "Nativeamericanish", certainly due to the strange wind this day (not easy to stripe with such a wind)...and we was on the Oneida Indian Nation...Scarry ! ;)

Here is some striping that Kritz did on the trunk and hood of my Buick. He did this at an indoor charity show last sunday, and had quite a crowd while he was striping. -Joe

My new b***!! it was kind of a HAMB effort. my girlfriend helped mask it off, I laid the paint, 57Wagon and Big Nick laid the clear, and Empire32 laid the stripes... and to all I am very grateful...

had a day off for a change. So I cleaned the shop and striped the coffee table in the living room. Its a little diff. than most my stuff. I never use Blue and three colors. Its big... five feet long. The lighter blue fades from a blue jean blue at the top to a sky blue at the bottom.

Thought I would add one this week...

  28. The back of my neck just got a tattoo from Jeff Shea. It's the DEADBEATS' club skull, with crossed bone and broken wrench, done in pinstriping. I figured Jeff is a excellent tattooartist AND one of the best stripers I knnow, so he should do a striping tattoo on me. Here's the tattoo...

  29. Here's the regular version...for comparison.
