It's the best of the best.
If you can make it, go. You'll be glad you did.

I camped last year down in shanty town and had a really good time.

  6. I've been twice. It is a 'must-go' if you can!

Is it advisable to stay all 3 days? I've been to some shows where Sunday was not to exciting:confused: Do they give breakfast and dinner all 3 days?---Bet the lines are long for that. What is the best time to get there Fri morning?

GaryT, I'd likely plan on arriving on Thur 8/25. pre 49 gates open at 6 cst.on Fri 8/26. Early registration cut off is July1. Activities inc Fri nite street party, valve cover races, Sat nite dance, awards on Sunday. Probably one of the best swap meets Ive ever seen, fairly large Manufacturers Midway too. Motel rooms may be an issue but at this time you could likely still find a good one! Ive got a list of motels with my registration if you want a copy let me know!

Stay all weekend. No, just dinner on saturday night, I think breakfast is just one day only too, but just dougnuts. The dinner line goes really fast! It gets hot there bring plenty to drink. Storms can be severe too, be carfull if you park under trees. If I were to go to a street rod run, this is the one!

I have a room booked and sent registration in this morning. The guy who I thought would go with me is backing out----might just drive 500 miles by myself. I think he thought I was going to trailor, but want to drive the Roadster----thats most of the fun for me!

I went last year as a spectator. The swap meet was great. A lot of really nice looking Hot Rods.
