Hello guys, anyone know what this is off of? Scored it at LARS yesterday for $16! But no one knew what it was from.. Looks like 30's maybe?

I am planning on running it on my 29 Roadster.

Its really narrow, and fits the rear of the body like it was meant to be. Its about 44.5" wide and the bumper guards are 15.5" apart on center of the mounting holes.

    Thanks!

just checked, and it looks like it was narrowed and its covered under the bumper guards...

Can anyone ID the bumper guards?

  3. The guards remind me of early Chevy, but I don't know nuthin'.

That's a very narrow bumper, and the shape is 1940s looking. Wonder if it's off some weird import?

they narrowed it at the bolt holes behind the bumper guards. Hopefully someone can ID the guards..

looks kinda 1937 Chevy-ish to me.

bigger - better - more pictures would help.

Why does it matter if you know what is off. If you like it use it

My impression is that the guards and the bumper are not of the same family. But I'd go '30s on the bumper and late-'30s on the guards.

  25. Yeah, looks like a 37 chevy narrowed bumper with some kinda late 30- early 40s mopar guards to me.

Rocky, at first I wanted to say Packard on the guards, and that's wrong. DeSoto, maybe?
