What is this?

Did I forget to put it back into my Ford c4 trans when I repaired it? Any input would be appreciated.

Sorry, for some reason my computer was freaking out

 

It's something they use ***embling the transmission that ends up in the bottom of the pan.
Toss it and forget about it.
It does kind of freak you out the first time you find one, doesn't it. (G)

You took the transmission apart and left THAT out!
Congratulations, you were the first one to take the pan off........

 

plug for the dipstick tube hole in the case, save ,reuse on the next trans you take out .

 

I am/was FREAKED the hell out.
