    Mercury Engine in a Corvette? Now I've seen it all!!

    Beautiful car and would definitely catch my attention on the salt whether it's 1957 or 2057.

Great car, shame it wasn't restored to how it raced, The first thing I noticed when looking at the engine bay was the modern suspension and rack and pinion plus the other modern ****. it really cheapens a historic racer and makes it seem like a modern 'Kit Car'. If I remember correctly they had it listed on ebay for $750,000 shortly after the resto.

    On the positive side I like it and I saw it at the Petersen last year.

    Internet rumor has it that the car is currently on display at a Disney PIXAR "Cars 2" themed amu*****t park in Hollywood:
