Hey guys I am a Marine down here you can call me Joe Racer it was my nickname from when I raced a few years ago.. Since then I have settled down and got out of racing and I am starting a new hobby if you will. I am taking a 51 Chevy 3100 and installing it on an S10 frame. I am not to good at welding so my buddy is going to help me on that but as far as tear down and build I am going to do that on my own. I have read a lot about doing this so called frame swap. I would like to keep it original but never the less safety is the most important concern in a daily driver. I will post some pictures soon as I can. I have been looking around for body mounts and I was going to ask this question is there anybody out there with a kit that welds or bolts to an s10 frame to accept the 51 cab and body? Any help would be appreciated.
I've got a 50 five window and it runs down the road just fine on it's original chassis. Welcome from Michigan.
