This morning, fellow Hamber Jerry and I are heading to Las Vegas from Phoenix to pick up a 55 caddy. We were thinking about making it a one day trip, but the weather report indicates a winter warning with snow in the forecast. My concern is one of hotel security if we decide to stay the night in Vegas or part way back in Kingman. Are there any hotels that have secure parking so that we don't get the car and trailer ripped off like I've been reading so often on this site? If anyone has any suggestions other than hiring a security guy, please let me know. Sometimes, some hotels have secure fenced parking areas. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

I make this route every month for work and I wouldn't suggest any hotels in the Las Vegas area. Someone's highly likely to steal anything for gambling money. Just my opinion.
The Best Western Kings Inn in Kingman has a drive thru area that you could park the truck trailer in front by the check in desk, so someone could keep and eye on it for you.
They have a great cooked breakfast in the morning.

I used to stay at a place off the strip up in Vegas called "The French Quarter Suites". They are about a mile off the strip next to the Orleans casino. Now, it goes back several years now, but they did have parking lot security at night, and they were cheap too! Being away from the action also kept them a quiet place too. Off Tropicana Blvd. if I remeber correctly. the Plymouth lived there without incedent for about five months one year...

Thanks guys. Jerry and I made it up to Vegas safely despite the rain. We loaded up the caddy and started home only to get some pretty bad snow just outside of Kingman. Decided to ride out the storm and stayed at the Days Inn that had a secure spot for the trailer and caddy. Made it home on Sunday without much trouble. Thanks again.

Sorry I missed your post. I could have put your cad up for the night in a warm, cozzy and alarmed shop.

ELDO would have liked the company. lol[IMG]
