Carb in a Can

  1. went to a estate sale and picked this up and thought i'd show how these were packaged up ,[​IMG] sorry for such big pics as i'm not too puter savy [​IMG]

    Cans were used.

    If you go back far enough, they were packaged in wooden boxes.

    Can contained a '49-50 car carb, carb in it is the truck carb it probably replaced. They stole the choke arm and transferred it to the carb arm, which was set up for a cable rather than the ball type truck used. What model # is on other side of carb? Probably 7R or 8R type.

  11. i use that to spray around the shop doors to keep the *****ers out, works good, also got that at the sale,hehe,came home looking like the beverly hillbillies in my truck w/all the goodies, few more pics [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] and thats just a couple boxes of goodies

  13. ya paid 5 bucks for it,lol and it works,got boxes of new coils and voltage regulators,dist. caps,ect,lots of bluepoint special tools was a fun sale
