Back to the 50s Registration Parking Pirates

Wednesday night to pick up registration packet was clear shot, especially if you had to work Thursday on the grounds. No one else mentioned paying for parking. R U sure? Host hotel being next to Hilton and so close to the FG is big attraction. A free room for Board mtgs. is no big deal as any hotel would do that. We tried hotels on the south end and too much traffic and too far from FG. Hard to keep everyone happy-I understand. I suggest all those that complain offer to volunteer a few hours next year.

 

forget the far out motel registration,do it at the fairgrounds !! north parking lot is perfect for a big tent or? then i register go in fairgrounds and see no lawn chair parking signs and realize these are for the minnesota car clubs to use for there personal parking ! damn i drive drive and drive no problem but see people blocking crosswalks,entrances and complete parking where there should be none ? i have been going forever BUT might find somewhere else next year !at least the little old crabbie lady at the north gate wasnt there this year ! no matter where your window sticker was it was a 1/8 " off according to her ? maybe swap meet should be a two day event ?

 

Hopefully the folks charging for parking will send a report of income to the host club !

Revenue lost or generated by this event is tracked all over town is it not ? Food, hotels , gas ... Beer ...ice
now event parking near fairgrounds and registration hotel?

 

The only reason that I'm replying to this is that it this waste of space is and it is back on the front page.........WHO CARES? Go work in your garage......You want to talk about parking go to the airport or a major sporting event.......Maybe there's a HAMB for one of those sites.

Oh yea, why is that everyone that seem's to be 'chatting' about OT stuff lately registered in 2008 or 2009........just an observation.......It must have been a cold winter or some other web-board must have been shut down around then. Just an observation.
