Maybe? Take a look @ dimensions on Sid's site, they have physical differences, but dimensions listed appear similar......might be worth dropping a dime to ask, or better yet, just order up a dropped one!! http://www.droppedaxles.com/FORD_AXLES.html HTH James
Thanks Jamesdfo. I had that same thought. The reason I am asking is because I found a Sid's front axle out of a '64. I was planning on having them drop the one in my '60. The specs. on their website are listed as the same. There is a notation about shock mounting holes on the '64, but nothing on the '60. If the '64 axle would work, I could save a lot of time and money. Any info. would be appreciated. I hate to bother them at Sid's if I don't have too.
The 64 axle will bolt right in your 1960. The only thing really different is the appearance. The measurements are the same KP to KP, SP to SP and take the same kingpin set and spindles www.droppedaxle.com
I think they are the same 57 up. I use the later axles on the 53-56 to gain an extra 1 1/2'' in drop.
CCP has a droped front axle for the 57 and up F100 so if you not sure give them a call and order it from them brand new.
