I was wondering what 37 that was that was supposedly floating around the shop for a while, until I saw the uh... "blue" wheels. Ha, ha. That chop rules.

Thanks for the kind words guys. And you stop by any time bluestang, there's always beer in the Frigidaire!

The '39 should almost work out the same way as far as chopping it. The bodies are close enough in design that I would almost say the cuts should be very close to what we did.

Wait until you guys see the grill work we're going to do!!

Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  14. The chop is sweet, but it's the dash that is fantastic! So often, the interior is overlooked; not here. Great job, thanks for posting.

Didn't think I say it but that chop looks great. But then again the roof looked great originally. Ha! That dash work is over the top.

Good thread.............Your methods are definitly "old School", w/o tha' coathangers !
Your step bye step presentation was super !
I liked the melody........and the way you presented an old method !............I give it a TEN !
You DARE to be different, like choppin' a '32 sedan 1 inch, .........I like it when persons look twice, an scratch thier heads !! (not sure what was done?, but damn, don't it look GOOD. Thanks.

We finished the fabrication on the car and the customer took it to Az. where he lives. We were only contracted for the fabrication. That was 6 months ago +. I'm not sure what he was going to do to finish it. I do know that he mentioned having two mortgages, blah blah blah. Really nice guy, but I think the economy got him. I hope it's done someday!
