Cool video for sure. I wish I could find the time to stripe daily. Too many other things in life kicking my **** at the moment.
Last night I shut everything off, put all my customer work aside and striped stuff for ME, felt good.

Beautiful vid. I cant wait for our new house when I have an area to practice. I havent striped in months. This vid makes me miss it even more. I love the hooks in the lids idea as well. Subscribed just to save the video to watch later.

I dig the hook in lid idea also, just makes you not so portable then is my issue.

I seem to have more fun striping and talking to the customer.....they think its a show, but sometimes you get a really good story out of them.....

  28. Excellent video, thanks for posting. I am friends with a number of pinstripers and I absolutely love the artistry. Never picked up a brush myself, but I am a fan of quality work (I like yours, Philly, along with Willis, and countless others). I've been to a few pinstriper parties in So Cal (mostly at Ron Foreman's) and the quality of work that shows up is mind-blowing.

A few months ago, Ryan started a thread about how craftsmanship has become a dying theme. He posted a few videos, one being the building adverti*****t painters, and the other was a guy in England that does gold-leaf over gl***. If you haven't seen them, they are incredible to watch. Maybe someone on the site is better with the Search function than I am and can post the link.

I think it would be awesome to have a sticky dedicated to craftsmanship. No matter the subject, from cars to furniture to whatever. I am always fascinated by craftsmanship. I can watch "How It's Made" on TV all day long. Love it.
