Had a great time and met up with many cars on the way top San Marcos. As usual Carl and I were a little early but soon many sharted coming to Mercury Charlies to head out to San Marcus to the car Museun and BBQ.Charlie lead us on side roads and freeways and a lot of twist and turns and untill we got to san Marcos we were lost big time but finally got there. We did a few shots to look at if interested.
Holy Hamb-hocks, what a bunch of nice rigs out for this cool event. Nadine is such a hot dolly, the museum is of highest quality and a beautifjul setup, what a priviledge to visist these high cl*** digs. Thanx for sharing. Mercury Charlie is rated 10+ with the South Omaha Turds.!! ~sololobo~
Love that museum, we stop there every year on our way up to the roundup! The guys are always friendly and the cars top notch!
I got to drive right behind Nadine and what a sound. Right out of the 50's and Charlie knows how to sound them off.We wanted to film the caravan but traffic was a little to heavy but still go pictures of most of them.
Great pics Ray. And as usual, It was a fun day hanging with everyone. We enjoyed the cruise back to Bastrop. Hope the rest of the trip home was ok.
Thanks for the ****** and we also had a great time. The drive home was good and we pulled in about midnight so we made good time. We will plan for this one again for sure.I have almost got the other pictures ready to post on the gallery and hope to have them all up by tomorrow at some point.
We are planning the same thing next round up. There is just to much to see for one trip so its in the book for now.
I just cooled down after that run...lol..it was only 106! Fun ride and i got to hang out with my buddies from Conroe! Looking forward to the next one. Thank you Charlie for setting this up and Thank you to the owners of ****s Museum!
I hear ya and that why my ragtop stayed home and I took the one with AC. Old Carl had me charge up his AC right before we headed to Austin. We sure enjoyed the cruise and getting a chance to see every one again. The BBQ was good and it surprised me how many showed up on 35 and joined our group. We will be looking for the next one to go to and see you guys again.
Sounds good to me and we will be in waiting. Right now we have a mess here with the big fire 5 miles from the ranch. A car collector in Plantersville is bringing all his cars to my place due to the fire which has taken over 50 homes and 100 buildings in the last couple of days. They have the hiway 105 closed and are trying to contain the fire to the South side but it dosen't look good right now. The town of stoneham is just about gone and thats actually where the fire started. A friend of ours has a restoration shop there and he has had to evacuate his business and then there is no power to that area. What a mess Just keep these folks in your prayers as the need all the help we can get them right now.
Looks like a great time. I had the pleasure of meeting Mercury Charlie and getting a shop tour when I was visiting Austin in the spring. Such a nice guy! I had hoped to visit that museum, but ran out of time. From the pictures it looks like some real choice cars. Sent from my iPhone using TJJ
I don't know being a 4 door and doors making up part of the roof--Maybe someone will photo shop it and we can see. I just cant vision a tucker chopped
Thank you Thank You--- to All who cruised with us on such a hot day. A truly big thanks to all the guys at ****s Garage for having us out and serving us BBQ. What do you think about making this a annual event?
