Here is that same '58 Buick some time in the late 80's or early 90's. This car became the poster car for a early 1990's Hot August Nights car show in Reno, NV.
Thanks for the pics Deadender60, my family lived next to Rod before I was born (I was raised in Prunedale), but I got to meet Rod and check out his shop. Is Rod a member here?

just saw this thread, and thought I would jump start it again, here's a tank that Rod laid the pattern down on and I painted.
Some of the work he doesnt get much credit for is all the time and effort he spent helping a lot of younger guys who think the world of him. I know a few of them but there must have been a bunch and all that I have met were super guys.
