Mister Ticket........looks like ya got a winner going together there in Beautiful, downtown Ithica...I'm in Bellevue. It looks like you just p***ed the traditional "HAMB hazing" procedure ok. If SamIam Strube says you're ok, chances are you're gonna be alright.....
See ya on the street.....I'll prolly be driving this.

  5. Welcome BigTicket-Real Roots Hot Rod-

That Sam guy was a little corrosive to ya at first, cause he's a nice guy........;) [the ones that didnt get any ,ya kno]:) ......& no I have no flathead 6 stuff!

  6. Yea, Doc... try convincing ryan to change the name of this place to the HAMB, Spreading the Gospel of STREET RODDING...

I know some people like to simplify things... but cl***ifications are just a way to tell the difference between one thing and the next... science does it all the time...

You can't deny there is a difference between different types of styles of cars, can you?

I mean, my six year old son knows the difference between a hot rod and a street rod. :D

The roadster is looking great. Thanks for taking the time to post all those pix. I'm curious about the "Polish" frame bender. Did it work ok overnight or did you end up having to heat it to get the proper bend? Rusty.:)

Well Rusty... It worked up to a point.. I had to make some small cuts with a plasma torch, on the narrow web of the tubing, about 1.5 inches apart, in the area I was bending....This took the "memory out of the steel and the frame bender worked OK after that....Thanxz fer Asking...John "the magnificent one"
