I'm going to be in Iowa the weekend of the 22 for my daughter's graduation (Grinnell College). How come everything's on a weekend I'm not around? Last time I was out there,I went to Yogi's and they had just closed. Great state, tho. I've lived in Grinnell and Iowa City for about 6 years back in the 60's and 70's. Sure is different now.

  3. Grinnell?! Crazy hippies, I tell ya!

I lived in Iowa City for 7 years myself, of which I remember about 45 minutes. For the real crazy hippie action in Iowa though, you've got to go to Fairfield -- home of that wacky trancendental meditatin' Maharishi International U.

Did you mean to say "old guy"? Going back this morning to load up. Bad day selling - good day buying. Picking up the 64 tuesday. The Falcon is off to Milwaukee. I bought a set of pipes off an 86 Mustang GT for our 92. Now I am thinking they may go on the Willys! Tom

Surprisingly, I brought them home with me today. Those parts are way too fancy for the 64. I need poverty caps but I will probably run it with no caps for a while. Any brake parts? Do you have a dual or single master cylinder on yours? Not much going on there today but I did manage to buy a 40 Ford Pickup 6 clyinder flathead motor with trans and two sets of SBC racing headers.
    So now the dilema for the 64 - 223 6 Cyl/3-speed - 302/C6 - 302EFI/AOD - 390/C6 - 460/C6...I have one of each...hmmm...Tom

Well, I do have a 3 car garage. Most of the parts I bought are for the Willys. I saw Joe there today - told him about the 292 but it turns over so not sure if he is interested...Tom

My Parts Car Had New Brakes On It When I Bought It.shoes Are Good Hardware Good. Don't Think The Cylinders Are Any Good But They May Be Cleaned Up. I Am Still Running The Single Mastercylinder On My 64 But The Last Time I Drove It It Was Giving Me Fits I Think It Is Going Bad. Havent Had It Out This Year Yet. I Do Have Some Good Heads For 390 And Real Good Cam But Is A Solid Lifter Cam.
Have A Set Of Headers Out Of 64 Drag Car. I Am Told That 70 Torino Disc Brakes Fit Spindles And All Not Sure On The Year 70 -74 Need To Look In Your Interchange Book Check For Disc On Torinos. If You Use That Disc Brake Set Up I Would Run That Dual Mastercylinder.
