Hi all, my name is John. I have been building cars/bikes for as long as I can remember. I am building a 63 Skylark on the chap side,as I have a wife and 2 kids. Moog doesn't carry any coil springs earlier than 64 (A body). Does anyone know what if anything interchanges with 63 rear coils?

  2. My Hollander Interchange says that 61-63 Buick Special & Olds F85 interchange. Station wagons fit too as a heavy duty option. Hope this helps.

Seriously? Criticizing member's kids? Looks more like a future hot rodder to me, with the elbow out the window in the proper manner.

Good luck, Lou. And welcome to the H.A.M.B.

  9. Measure your spring overall diameter, the size of the wire and the installed and free length. Then go to the MOOG site for springs and start comparing for a close fit.

It thought of Jesse James when I saw the kid.

Anyway we all live in a Yellow Submarine...

  17. Welcome aboard John.

Hope some of the guys haven't scared you off. If those are your two boys in the car I'd say you're headed for some fun times in the future. And if that's your wife in the Avatar, I'm surprised you only have TWO kids!!!! :D :D

Maybe we can hook up someday and share some stories. I'm trained in underwater screen door repair.

For those dissappointed he hasn't posted up a sub, he didn't say the Buick was for the street. He may be getting his inspiration from 007.

Ive been building cars for as long as I can remember also. Since the stroke, that's only back to late January.... ;)
