I bought this truck a few days ago he said it was a 1931 chevy 1 1/2 ton is that true? the body lines and gauges are not the same as other 31 pics I have seen. Thanks
It is probably a 1930 model. From my research here (http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery18-35.htm), the 1931 cab would have had rounded corners. The 1930 dash seems to match your as well. Dave....
The dash is from a '29. You've got a downdraft carb--first available in '32, so...It looks like a happy mix. Have fun!
Mix mash , I reckon dash gauges are 27-28, everything forward of cowl is 29-30 and from screen back is mare like 27-8. Still gonna be lots of fun Rod
it has a downdraft carb and a 4 speed trans its to bad the starter is in a box with a dead short I would have liked to see it run before I pull it apart and put in a small block. what is the alcohol gauge for?
Here is my '32 with a '31 front bumper. the pickup cab was just the first part of the body section. This may help you. This is an original car and my family were the purchasers. Normbc9
