Reminder to self: Do not start a amall company and make exceptional products desired by a large audience. I have seen this to be the haunting part of many a cottage industry making excellent product with great intentions and getting buried in the rush of business. Good luck Jim. ~sololobo~
The wait is long, longer than they tell you. BUT, they don't make your springs till you order them, and when you get them and see the quality of their product, you forget all about that LONG wait! I would order from them again any day, JC was a huge help setting my car up.
being self employed i understand how it feels to be a one man show...my GF helps me with stuff,or id go crazy...
Sucks when you have a car torn apart waiting on parts. Really sad part is I am only 5 hours away from him and drove right by his place on my way to Ink~n~Iron
im having the same problem with jamco.. i ordered a full suspension for a 49 shoebox over 4 almost 5 months ago and still dont have all my parts.. when i do get ahold of them they are very nice but i bought this stuff for customer cars and they are asking whats going on and i dont have a reason other than i havnt got my parts yet.. this sucks for me because i need a good suspension company but cant afford to have cars sit for months just for a couple day job.. this sucks
Purchased some miscellaneous rubber suspension components, about $50 worth over a month ago. Haven't received them. Called and emailed to follow up on the status during the past few weeks. I was polite, not acting like a dick. No answer and no replies. A quick email or phone call stating "we're running behind or out of stock but you'll receive them in 3 weeks" would go a long way. A week ago I said f*ck it, ordered the same parts from another company, and those parts have already arrived. I'm glad I learned my lesson on a $50 order, versus a $500 order. Good luck earning my business again. EDIT: Posted this just over an hour ago. Shortly after, Jamco pm'd me. We cleared up the communication issue.
i waited over 1 year to get my front end kit and over 19 months to get my front sway bar its all here now but it makes it very hard when i am in a different country i just can't drive down to go see him jim is good to talk to when you can get him on the phone but that is not easy because he is working on cars, he sells good stuff but since he moved to a bigger shop he sells more stuff and needs to get more staff to help him out jim could make a good shop even better he just has to get one or two pepole to answer the phones he says leave a message but does not get back to you unless you can get him to pick up the phone when you ring thats why he needs some one to answer phones, i would think not every one can wait all day to be called back because when you live in a different time zone unless i can talk to some one when i call it makes it very hard to know what is going on with parts that i have ordered,i hope jim is feeling better since getting out of hospital.
