Was on duty at the firehouse. Thankfully it was a quiet night.

Was perfect.Filled the moat, raised the drawbridge, hoisted the FTW flag next to Old Glory and ignored the rest of whatever was going on.Didnt bother nobody and nobody bothered me.

We spent a pretty traditional fourth.
We went to the Lions club pancake breakfast in the park and ate and visited with a few friends and then went to the local Wild West parade that my aunt happened to be one of grand marshals for this year.

She got to ride in a pretty spiffy 61 Chevy Ragtop
Then my son called and said he was doing ribs and come on down and we did.
he had his hands full with a bum right arm though

After we ate and picked some cherries in their orchard we headed home and watched the fireworks from the Casino out in the side yard with the dog and cat.

Mrs Jalopy and I stayed at Paperdogs cabin, took in the stockcar races at Oglivie Mn, Saturday evening - which ended with some great fireworks, took in a car show in Fynlandson Mn, Seen a Rod Stewart tribure concert at Hinkley Mn which ended in a Hidge Fireworks display, and on the fourth toured the lake on Paperdog, and Naadines pontoon boat.
Talked a lot of old cars and had a great fourth.
