Ok so after hearing opinions and multiple adjustments, here is where I think I want to go with this build. About 2-3" Section 2" Chop 1.5" out of front of hood to tip it down..... Let me hear it........
Your Ram Air intake at the windshield end of the hood is a great idea; you'll get lots of pressure into the carb. How many cubes will it be feeding?
Chop the top however you'd like, up to maybe 3-4 inches. Anything over that and I think it kills the look. I chopped 1 1/2 inches out of my A pillar on my 55' to slant the cab forward/down to match the rest of the truck. I also took out 1 1/2 inches from my hood when I pie cut her- and if I did it over I'd only take out 1 inch. It's a subtle difference, but I think it is much more manageable when you go to weld it all back together. Just my 2 cents.
Ditch the bullets, they look like their made for either the old muscle car look or the new mustangs... The hood looks like a 2000 cobra r hood the way it kicks up... Makes the whole truck look like you photochopped a mustang and a 56 together... Not right. IMO
I'm sorry for the error. But I get it now. You want to check on the engine while you're driving. Great idea!
LOLm I looked at the hood again, It looks good from the side but I dont think its conna look right raise up at the cowl even if I box the back of the hood in.....I thought about putting a set of rpm lights accross it though........
Yeah, I'm a fan of the bullets.... just my taste............The running boards are staying, they just werent on the truck for that pic so i just filled in some blue. As far as the hood scoop, its not a scoop its the whole hood left at stock height in the rear and sloped to the front...........but I dont think I like it either love it from the side, but just doesnt look right looking over the hood.
