    I bought them seeing them in a picture - wanted originals - had no idea they had been bobed - will probaly sell them or trade for Oringals
    they may look cool on the right build

    Hey, I was just digging through some of the Don Montgomery books looking for another answer for some one and came uppon a picture that made me think of this thread. On page 18 of Hot Rods As They Were, there is a picture of a kinda weird little '27 Chev touring with a '34 grill and fenders. They have been bobbed and seem to have the beads reworked as far as my middle aged eyes can see. the bob has the right shape too... Anybody have a scanner and that book handy?
