It Runs, Sedan update

Well, a couple of my buddys came over last Sat. and we decided to try and make the push to get the car wired and fired up. My personal goal was to drive it by May 1st. Well we worked our asses off and put in a 15hr day but by the time we fired it was midnite. I still have to bleed the brakes and slave cylinder and install some return springs on the carbs. I'm happy with the way it runs and I can't wait to spin the tires. The end is in sight.......Mike

 

That looks really mean!!! I love the drilled visor and the Buick drums. Nothing like some potato chips washed down with some carb and choke cleaner at midnight.......yum, yum.....

My deadline was also May 1st so I could drive it to Knoxville. Weill I did not make it, Once I admitted I could not make it, I took a week off from working on it.. Seeing yours so far along makes me mad I missed my deadline.

Bad news... My wife up and left about a month ago and the bills didn't follow her. I have liquidated just about everything I own that I don't need to survive that included my 67 Galaxie convert (the last old car that I owned) So now I am car-less AND penny-less...so it is going to be sometime before the plaques get done.

But when they do, you will get one. You seem to be at every event we attend anyway, why not make you our "western member". Consider yourself in...Now get that thing done and give me a ride!
