Went to an estate sale in Demotte, Indiana today that had some interesting cars and some parts as well. Took some pictures so others god enjoy. The best car (in my opinion)was the 55 Ford with 6600 miles. The car was given to the original owner as a graduation present in 1955. He drove it the 6000 miles then took it to a custom shop and had it re-done and never drove it again afetr that except to an oc***ional car show. he had it stored in the living room of his house when it was purchased by the man who owned the estate. I think it sold for 26.5K My score was a '32 Ford grill shell for $45!!! Plus got some cool Cadddy hubcaps and several vintage steering wheels. All in all, it was an enjoyable day.
that gold 55 ford was a legit deal, it belonged to a friend of mines dad. it was a low mile car. if i remember correctly he wrecked it , and then it went in for a cust. make over.dam kool car
The 34 roadster was a gl*** body on an original restored ch***is and went for 22.5, the airflow brought 25.5K. I thought the red with/flames 71 Monte carlo was a decent buy. It had a blown BB Chevy with 4 speed, pro street with roll bar, only sold for $7500. I will take some pics of the junk I bought for all the HAMB doubters!
Sun visor looks like one I just picked up , only I don't know it's application . http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2936706450102070080nssGxe
Better than the estate sale I went to yesterday that is for damn sure.....I went back 3 times and they were giving out numbers. At one point I was 275 behind the next person let inside. People were waiting hours. NOT ME. Not worth staying.....No car parts. I should ad that I did find a set of (4) 60's aluminum slotted mags with roller tires at a different yard sale.
i was there, the grill shell did happen....it was a lil beat up,but still a `32! BTW,I was the one who ran you up on all the parts you bought...LOL
Did you have on a black Hunnert Car Pile-up Shirt? No foul! There is always at least one guy that bids me up. That just tells me I have good taste.
