Just got back in from one of our largest local shows here in north Alabama. It started back in the '80's and been growing almost every year. They started holding it at the General Motors Saginaw Steering Gear Plant and has now moved to Point Mallard Park in Decatur. Here are a few photos that I made while I was there, hope you enjoy them!

Boy the humidity was killer there today, wasn't it? It didn't seem to be as big as it usually is, maybe the gas prices are eating into people's hobby plans. Some real nice rides from this area there today.

Yes! The humidity was terrible. You may be right about the attendance. Didn't seem to be quite as many as in some years past. Still, a bunch of very nice rides!

I wondered what happened to that flamed 41 Ford coupe.

    from Berry, AL

I think a guy in Jasper Al owns the 41, or it looks a lot like his. The green pickup is also from Jasper.
I had forgot about that show today. I spent the day working on the wife's Vette. Would have been better off to just went to the show for all that I got accomplished....

Couple more shots from the show. First one is a pretty neat security system!

J-R, thanks for posting. Always some sweet rides in your neck of the woods. I particularly liked that black, '34 Chevy 3W. Go figure!
