I wanted to send out a big Thank-you for all your thoughts and prayers. And also give you a update. Saturday night we all prepared ourselves, thinking that it would problably be the last night we'd see him alive. Being in ICU we got kicked out at 10:00PM and couldn't return till 9:00 the next morning. We left him in bed where he had to be tied to the bed sides becouse in his state he was tring to pull out all the tubes and hoses he was hooked to. He had no idea what was going on around him, and though he speach was so slurred he was hard to understand, he was talking none-sense. He wanted me to get a horse and pull him out of the ditch. Then he was convinced all the hallways were filled with spies, and wanted his gun. When he slept he was twiching and mouthing words with no sound. His pressure dropped to 57/35 and his breathing was so labored! Walking out of that room was the hardest thing I had ever done. BUT! Today he is clear minded and setting up in bed. He had pancakes for breakfast, and grilled hamburger meat with green beans for supper. His color is good and his urine has cleared. We are still waiting for the white cell count to come up enough, so that he can have surgury to have the blockage removed, but wow what a step forward! This afternoon he had a breathing treatment. The nurse walked out of the room for just a secound and while she was gone, Dad slipped out his teeh. When she returned he opened his eyes wide and declared the machine had ****ed his teeth inside it, and he wanted them back. I knew then he was going to alright! Again we are not totally out of the woods, but becouse of the grace of the lord and your prayers we are headed back on track. My whole family thanks you all very much!
Aww,..good to hear that! He is in our prayers also. May the Lord keep his hands upon your family! Jason "Coal town kid"
