Hey figured I'd make a page to "introduce" myself and this seemed like the right place to do so. Just turned 22 and just bought a 1950 Chevy 3600. It's been my dream car since I saw my first one when I was 11. Well, any AD Chevy basically. I'm no mechanic, and luckily at this point it doesn't need any major work. The engine has been gone through, along with the*******. I've shown some pictures to friends/family and they all say "that's a**************" or "that is really ugly". I guess they don't see what I see. It has a little bit of surface rust and was hand painted with house paint! So yeah, maybe it's not "beautiful" but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I hold the keys. The moral of this post is basically if anything goes wrong, I'll be here trying to figure it out and ask you fellas. I have "mechanical ability" just never used it on a car.
Well in one week(ish) when it gets shipped from California I'm sure I'll have PLENTY of photos to put up here...once i figure out how...
