Hey figured I'd make a page to "introduce" myself and this seemed like the right place to do so. Just turned 22 and just bought a 1950 Chevy 3600. It's been my dream car since I saw my first one when I was 11. Well, any AD Chevy basically. I'm no mechanic, and luckily at this point it doesn't need any major work. The engine has been gone through, along with the tranny. I've shown some pictures to friends/family and they all say "that's a piece of shit" or "that is really ugly". I guess they don't see what I see. It has a little bit of surface rust and was hand painted with house paint! So yeah, maybe it's not "beautiful" but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I hold the keys. The moral of this post is basically if anything goes wrong, I'll be here trying to figure it out and ask you fellas. I have "mechanical ability" just never used it on a car.
Well in one week(ish) when it gets shipped from California I'm sure I'll have PLENTY of photos to put up here...once i figure out how...
