I seen it on a trailer heading home from the event, I could see the headliner was burned half way back. I felt real bad for the owner.

Oh yeah, a lot of things could.

Tough break, almost looked like a fuel fire that was being fed by an electric pump.

Thats really too bad. The dry chemical in the fire extinguishers is REALLY corrosive too.

Thanks for the picture. It doesn't lessen the loss any but I'm relieved it's not my buddy's car. I do feel for the owner though, terrible loss...

It appears they left it running when it caught fire. Turn it off, so the fuel pump won't keep feeding the fire!

Things could be worse. Nobody got hurt.. Always carry a fire extinguisher in your hot rod. Your car may not catch fire but what about the guy next to you?

Talk about a death gargle...that noise was hideous. Poor car...and poor owner, too.

Looked like a nice ride and its a shame there were no extinguishers available a little faster. I carry them in all my rides and had to use one a few years back. I hate to see any one lose their ride like that and I hope he has decent coverage.

Flamed forty sedans look great, but I'd rather have them painted on. Condolences to the owner.

a battery kill or accessable cable for killing power would have been nice, it just seemed to take too long for help, at least no bodily injury.

A small extinguisher may have stopped that before it got out of hand........................................a small investment for peace of mind.
What a shame for the owner...............
