Event Coverage Syracuse Nats 2011

Hey just a friendly traffic note for those using the 90 coming out of Pa and Ohio this weekend.At the first east bound exit overpass,Ripely,NY,the thurway is detoured due to the bridge being hit by a truck.Its been on the news lately.I do not know when it will be opened up again but traffic has been detoured around that area.Check into it and leave yourself some extra time.I dont work for the state or anything,just thought I would mention it. Call it a Stankwell Motors Public Service Annoucement!! JF See ya in Syracuse!!

Me and Rcranger will be driving out on friday morning (if he gets his car togeather) If anyone wants to meet up and drive out in a pack. He is leaving from Ilion/Herkimer area, I'll meet up with him in Rome. Then we take the back roads through Sylvan Beach (Rt49), hop on Rt 13. then take Rt31 to 690E to the fairgrounds.

 

We're doing a bit of a tech session Saturday afternoon... kind of a huge brainstorm on neat things we've seen on hot rods. Hoping for a good turnout! Should be a nice break from the normal "I'm X company, these are my products" style of seminar.
The seminar room (theatre) is usually really cold, too.

looks like if i am making the show this is what i am taking if i can get it ready , havent driven it in 3 years , thay sent the wrong universal with the steering box so no way to hook it up

 

me and a bunch of the lost kustoms will be getting therte fri morning ,i was planning on bringing my street freak nova BUT i think i sold it and seeing its wed morning i guess ill have to take my old reliable deuce

 

Thought I would have this deuce ready but didn't make it, wife broke her arm and I've been taking care of the horses. Maybe next year if I don't sell it first, I'll be there Friday and Sat. looking for a nice little A coupe.

Guy in Waterville has an A coupe listed on Utica Craigslist. I've never seen it so I know nothing about it, but I can find out.
