well a buddy of mine knows about this top secret wrecking yard. it has about 600 cars left, all from the 30's 40's 50's and 60's. most were from the 50's and 60's but i got me a roof off an OLDS 88 so i can start the chop on my 52 buick. This place was nuts hidden back in the woods on the side of a hill! unless you knew about it, you'd just keep on driving! I scored the roof and tops of the doors for a 150 bucks and a super nice 54 buick grill for 10 bucks! just thought i'd share some way cool pics!

There was a guy around here years ago that had a cow pasture full of old cars.. unfortunatly I was into Jeeps at the time.. wish I knew how to get in touch with him now..

  7. There's a yard like that over here off the 101 (near Salinas, CA) in Prunedale (I like to call it Prune-tucky) Anyway lots of old heeps 1/4 sunk in dry dirt hills. It looks like a hot rod cemetary.

is it a junk yard or someones backyard? what exit would i take to get there?

i bet you just blew the cover off someones private stash :)

  9. Yeah probably! HAHA it's a yard but it's really back in the hills of Prunedale. You have to go into downtown Prunedale then make a left up this hill and its about 1/2 mi in on a dirt road on the right. I can't think of the names of the streets but if you really need em I'll write um down the next time I pass through.

Ok, I live in Ohio and am looking for some '58 Olds 4Door parts. Is this a real secret yard or just hard to find? If it's semi-public, I'd love info on getting there as a trip up would be worthwhile...
