Hey, I'm new around here and my name is Randy (If you hadn't guessed). Anyway, doing some searches for some info a few times I've stumbled upon this place, and figured I'd register and see what happened.

Anyway, my current project is a '53 Mercury Monterey (Last year of the Flathead) and I'm waiting for the snowbank it's covered in to melt so I can get working on it.

Oddly enough, I'm a lot younger than most of the people I see with these cars. Actually I started off in the import scene, but gradually moved back in the years to where I am now. I liked a lot of the sport compacts at first, then got a hold of an '87 Supra (My friends thought that was "Old" at the time), then I picked up a '67 Chevelle and had that for about a year, then sold that for the Merc' that I've got now.

Anyway, that's my story, I look forward to seeing what cool stuff you guys have around here.

Hey, thanks everyone. I'll try and start some work here soon now that spring is supposedly coming. And nuskool65, even when I was in that crowd I never was into those really, always liked the bigger engines.
