Soon I will be getting ready to mount up my two carb intake to my Plymouth (finally) I am considering using ARP studs for the intake and exhaust manifold. Any of you flat six guys use em? Blueskies? 4Woody?

Also who was the HAMBer who split exhaust manifolds?

    Thanks as usual

I replaced all my manifold studs with the ACE hardware variety. All grade 8 at a good price. Wrap the threads that go into the block with Teflon tape or a good sealent as some of these studs go into the water jacket.

Sorry- I just used what was already there, but I think Don C is right. Generic oughta be fine.

Yeah I got some helpful info from the Inliners board that swayed me from the ARP. That was to find a bolt that will hold tight but also allow a little bit of expansion for the heat on both manifolds. Makes sense. So I just purchased a set from Vintage Power Wagons.

Also Thanks Crestliner. I PM'ed ya..
