Here are a few photographs from the Christian Rodders & Racers ***ociation (CRA) Hot Rod Camp #9, held this past week at Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus, OH. 8 young men ***embled this 1933 Factory Five Roadster during the camp with help from CRA's adult leadership. I always look forward to looking in every time I p*** the Buckeye building to check the progress. Some very methodical thrashing going on all weekend & a nice rod at the end every year. These young people should get more recogination at the awards on Sunday. Keep it up guys. Al
Cadillac AL you are absolutely right! Every year these young men do a remarkable job and get very little recognition for their hard work. In today's world of "stolen" hot rods and bad news, it's ashame an awesome undertaking such as this doesn't get the publicity it deserves. Thanks to Goodguys and the Meador's family for allowing this to be a part of their world.
Ok. I know it's not HAMB friendly, so I've been told, but it is Hot Rod related. I'm reposting this at a busier time on the board in hopes that these kids might get a little more recognition. These 8 young men did a remarkable job in 6 short days and this is the kind of "spark" that will continue our hobby/p***ion into the future. what isnt traditional about experienced hot rodders teaching a younger generation about pride and accomplishment?????? im glad you posted it and agree they all deserve more recognition at award time.
