    Eric,
I am SO impressed with your work, your speed and especially your painting.

Are you doing this on the back patio of your house? Do you do anything special if you are other than drape plastic and wet the slab? I'd like to know if you are, or ever were a pro painter and what gun you're using? Looks FANTASTIC man. Kudos.

  2. The color choice is perfect for a truck of this vintage. I cannot wait to see this on the road.

Thanks so much man!! Yes everything is being done in the two spaces in the photos. Im not doing anything really, I put down polly once when I did the cab do to all the close to the ground painting. Everything is being done rite out in the open! Hahah as far as expert painter.....def not, my father and a couple of my best friends are so many phone calls to them for advice!! The great thing withg 2 stage base/clear you can fix about anything with ease! as far as guns..I have an arsenol of cheap ass paint guns from all the box stores!:D Once again thanx for the props!

Thanks man...I think it is too and im happy with the turn out...I cant wait for some road time myself!

Ok this is for the guys who asked way earlier in thread about how the motor fit with the stock collum and gearbox. You can see the shim that was made to off set it. The fire wall was relieved a bit and the collum clamp moved over about 3/8 inch under the dash (no pic yet but ill post one tomorro) There is just enough room with the headers to make this all work...the motor is offset to the passenger side slightly too.

Thanks its not much of a shop in my mind, just a 3 car garage. IMO i want a MUCH bigger shop. The shop can never be to big. lol.

Ihave the same type of paint booth lol i did the same thing. I thing the longer the panel sits in the sun the better.
