Hotel Room in Wendover for Bonneville Speed Week

I have a room at the Days Inn in Wendover, UT for all of speed week this year, but I'm only staying from Friday night to Monday morning. The room is available for the rest of the week (they only let you rent the whole week). Interested? Let me know-I'm not lookin to make any money off of it, just get back what I paid.

 

These guys at the Hotels have became greedy *******s ! Im lookin for the days that you are stayin.

 

$220.00 per night @ Days Inn. 5-Day minimum. They want to bill you NOW. Unreal. Due the math. I feel your predicament.

A five star hotel in Tokyo is only $140-160 a night.

Just by chance if someone is goin to cancel.... im lookin, fri or thur till like maybe monday.

 

Also I think it's non-refundable. So if bad weather breaks you're just *** out.

Bingo we don't get Shutterbug to post much but he answers a thread that has been dead for six and a half years.
If you can't arrange a room now by contacting the motels and hotels I'd suggest taking a tent and pitching it at "the end of the road" and paying to shower at the truck stop providing the truck stop is still there at the head of the road. One can probably still get on the list in the afternoon to take a canceled room at the hotel. Dad and I did that one year. Lots of people reserve rooms and then have to cancel at the last minute. I was going to go to GNRS next week but canceled my room because the govt shut down will hold up my getting my back vacation pay for who knows how long. Probably saved me a thousand bucks though.

Not sure what pay you're referring to but SS and VA Disability pay are not supposed to be affected
