Thanks for the pics ACME. I just happened to be in LA for some family business and glad I was able to catch this event. Enjoyed catching up with friends and just hanging. Mooneyes crew pull off some cool events, from the big ones like the X-Mas and Yokohama Shows to small ones like this. Casual and fun. Mahalo Mooneyes.
Gotta get me a van!! Do they just let you walk around the whole shop or did you get special privileges? Cause either way its cool to see the behind the scenes stuff!!
Thanks for the pics. When they fired up the Addict, I definitely felt it all the way to my toes. It was nice that they had everything opened to everyone to see. Wish I would have taken some pictures in the work area too. The last time I was there, the singer for the Hot Rod Trio still had dark hair, been a while. He was putting the lines around the outside edge when I was there.
I remember time when I would drive down Florence Ave and I could see that yellow building from a distance because there was nothing but oil fields in the area. The only other building was a ******* bar.
Man, I'd love to do the Open House. Those Mooneyes caught my attention when I was was still wet behind the ears. I've still got family in SoCal I need to get out there soon.
