I think I've pretty much already made up my mind on the matter, but I still figured I'd ask what my brothers on The H.A.M.B. think, so I'm putting up a picture of my Chevy and tell me what you guys would do :)

Not an easy question to answer. IF the chop is right, read that RIGHT, they can look killer. However if it is not done with the right proportions it can turn out looking butchered. I would not chop it if it were mine, but I don't have the skills or time to do that kind of build. I would drive it and do minor adjustments as I find them necessary, but that's just me.

No Chop! Too many butchered chop jobs out there and cars way out of proportion. Why waste your time and money. Spend on go faster items instead.

  17. Hell yes, chop that*****er. :D
Theres many ways and styles of chops, as you will know.
You just need to figure out which look you like the most.

  18. Gentleman's chop if you're gonna cut. There's too many radical chop gorilla turds around as it is. No need for more of the same.

I have always loved 54's as it (but lowered a bit and with more power) - my 2 cents.

  20. X2! Being different means resisting a chop these days. Plus that's a great body style on it's own.

This might sound odd from a guy that spent 30 years wacking tops for a living but no, I wouldn't chop it if it were mine. Your car looks great as is and appears to be a runner, why mess with it with major surgury. If it was a hulk your just starting on maybe but a runner, just drive the wheels off it and enjoy.
Funny, the older I get the more I appreciate stock bodied cars.

I think it would look great just like this, but with 2 inches off the A PILLARS and 3 inches in the C PILLARS , for better flow, not so bubbly ..... but that's just me!!!

If you chop, look at Hotdamn's car, and copy that. That is perfect chop. No lower. Otherwise, leave it.
