A friend of mine wants to purchase this car , what do you guys think ? Is it worth putting some money into ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpZOl3bK5Fg
a 'friend of..' yours??? You have more posts on that YouTube post than anyone else. The guy narrating the movie sounds like an illiterate....posting on a public site using MF as a descriptive term? What a tool he must be. Looks like (flaming dice) the car is already in the hands of a doofus. May as well let another one purchase it. Nice car in what appears to be decent shape, but with that sticker you'll scare away mature folks with jingle in their pockets. Tell "your friend" to get ahead...buy it....those things are great road cars and you'll get a sprain from returning all the thumb's ups you're going to receive. dj
Chrysler made the Windsor and Royal and Town & Country Sedan 6-cylinder cars and New Yorker and Saratoga and Town & Country Convertible 8-cylinder cars and along with the now-Full AACA Cl***ic Crown Imperial limosines in the 46-48 line. Nice comfortable soft ride road hogs made for touring and the open road.
If he likes the car, then yeah, it's worth putting some money into. I personally think late 40s 4 doors are kinda lame....mainly because they're so ugly. But that's just me. Everyone has their own tastes, and if he digs it, then it's worth fixing up and driving. It won't depreciate like a late model car. btw thanks for the warning about narration, I hit "mute" before the video started. And you need to scroll about 1/3 of the way into the video before you see the car, I guess video editing is hard to do.
I give him 2 stacks for the car...spend 3 on paint & 4 on rimzzzzz...you know if that guy gets it he will **** it up with candy paint & 24" wheels... Nice hat & headphones by the way.....
that video ****s. you can't even see the car with all the shaking going on. hard to tell what shape it's in.
well the car looks in great shape from what i can see but , your friend as you said , well i think he watches too much overhaul or pimp my ride and would be overwhelmed with the work that it actually takes to get it back on the road, i think he should be creeping on a little honda. instead of dropping stacks on the car , 4 on wheels hahahaah
Old MoPars are cheap to buy and keep running. Just look in the old car trader blue book on values for the old MoPars and see what they are really worth not what someone was told they were worth just because they were "Old". I know what I am talking about as I have a 48 Special Deluxe 4 door P-15 Plymouth that is only valued about $750.00 more than what I paid for it in 86. Even with all of the improvements that I have made in the years that I have had it, it's still a four door.
