I have looked around at threads and photos from time-to-time, and of course, have checked out a variety of links that people have sent over the years. H.A.M.B. seems to be a very enjoyable, entertaining site on which to share. To be honest, in the past I have tho't it was a place where only rust was discussed. Not that I don't resemble that remark myself. Anyway, I'm just an old writer/photog, a major drag race fan and historian, edited a number of drag rags over the years, and tho' I watch current racing with some disdain, I am still lost somewhere between 1963 and 1976. I hope you'll allow some opinion from time to time. (Flyin') Phil Elliott
Hey there Phil! After some endor*****t and persuasion from some friends and customers I just signed up also. There's some very talented folks out here.
Hey Phil - welcome! I've followed your adventures since you started posting about the Nitro Nova and loved every word - couldn't wait for each next installment. How is the car coming? Any written updates posted anywhere that we could check out? Steve PS, I almost bought the old Wonderwagon body from Vern in Calgary about 6 years ago now - wish I could have put a deal together!

Welcome from the other side of the desert! I'll be good to talk to somebody on the other side of the 'pen' too. There are some fine budding writer historians on this board; Ryan himself of course, and check out Michelley's threads while you're at it.
