I hate to curse but...there's a guy on ebay that looks like he is liquidating a huge collection of caps with a lot in the '50s and '60s. You might do a search there if you haven't.

  4. Did somebody say HUBCAPS!
Was saving some but what the heck. Lots of pairs, a few sets of 4. If you have picture of what you want might have it here.

holy ****...time for me to get photos of what I'm looking for.

But I see 2 in your photos I'd be interested in.

    thanks everyone.

Oh...ebay. I don't have access to the net at home and I EBAY is blocked at work so that's the one place I can't go. Figured I'd try here.

I like a lot of the caddy caps and some of the pontiac/olds caps.

    allcads.com is grip.

I've got coopers looking for some for me. I like to go through them because of how nice they are and fairly priced.

    Hubcaps has some I like.

    I pretty much like all 47-58 cady caps. 50-61 olds non-wire. 51-54 pontiac. bah..you know. It's a 53 cadi for crying outoud..haaa.

Guess I just need to pick and go.

bah...so you mean i can't run something else on my stock wheels? Booooo. What if I drill a new hole?

Dang 53's. Everything is one year only. Even the damn starter is one year only.

    I really like the mid 50's sombrero's.

There is a guy in Zanesville, OH who has a hubcap shop. I've never stopped and looked at his stock. I will be going by it on Friday, if you'd like i can get his phone number off the sign out front and PM it to ya and you can talk turkey with him.

Got any of these??? I've got a set of four but two are pretty nasty.

  15. i picked up a set of 54 cad caps off of
egay for like $20 U.S. ($100 AUS. to my door)
they look fairly straight, but i havent
gots them yet... 54's are more common
    apparently?????...

  16. These are some of the baddest caps EVER. Run em' as they are for a good looking Hot Rod vibe, or throw a bullet in the center for a Kustom look.

    Stude.

but I have a 53? shouldn't the 53 caps work on my stock wheels?

I'd like to run the 54/55 style cap. if I could find some 53's I'd run em but I've only seen one set and they went for like $145 or something like that.

got to find something sometime in the next couple weeks.

Real nice set of 4, stainless steel, '54/'55 Caddy caps just sold on ebay for around $50 The emblems looked good too, just needed polishing (if you wanted to leave em br***) or repainted. My point is that the '54/'55 caps seem to be way more reasonable than the '47-'52. You might be able to use that $50 figure to determine what a good deal is from another source. Good luck!

You can buy them cheap at any parts store. Various lengths in metal or plastic. Look in the tire repair section, if not there maybe the help section.

ones found in parts store will not work on 53 caddy caps. the short valve stems smash right into the face of the cap. easy way is to get metal stems from a dually truck and bend them in a S shape to fit.

if you look you can see where the valve stem hole is .
