    guys,
does anyone know the measurement difference between a short and long water pump ?
im running a 1980 350 out of a truck with long water pump, alternator on p***engers side, and got some late 60's SBC alternator brackets to switch the alternator to the drivers side, but those motors use a short water pump. i need to make a spacer to make up the difference and want it to be exact.
    thanks
