Hi all, I'm Josh. I've been lurking for ... well for a long time now. I signed up a looong time ago and never posted because I didn't have a car. Then I changed my name to this one a little while's ago, and still didn't post, lol. I still don't have a car either, BUT dad finally gave me the green light after 4 years of bugging him to "JUST DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!" (oh the thousands of ideas floating around in my demented head right now) So I guess it's time to say hi and start deciding what I want to do.

Oh, and through all my prolonged hours of lurking I learned the rules around here and how not to be an annoying newb. Don't really have much else to say... All the important stuff is in my profile ::deserves good newbie award::

Cool name. It's amazing someone else hasn't used it before.

Nice intro, so now let's see what sort of car you can come up with.

Nothing yet, and at this point I have absolutely no idea... Those four years messed me up. I went from wanting fullsize lifted trucks, to mini lifted trucks, to planning out how to put Alcoa big rig wheels on a Ford Ranger, to bagged mini trucks, to Model A's and Model T's (roadsters and trucks), to fibergl*** Model A's and T's, wanted a mid 30's ford truck for a while, Monte Carlo's, there's an early 70's Camaro I took a look at, have thought numerous times about building a Triumph/BSA bobber, had a chance to buy a solid 66' Plymouth Fury II for $1,000 with a spare motor and ******, and that's just to name a few of the things I've wanted...

Something always puts me off from whatever plan I have, and it's usually money. I keep getting slammed with bills from college, and the loan keeps getting bigger and bigger. But in my four years of wanting a vehicle I've saved up $5,000 that's soley the "car fund." But to answer your question there, I'm thinking it would be best to just build up a flathead wicked nice and go from there.
