I have a 55 chevy 2 dr post, The car has front disks and a lincoln 9" rear with disk brakes. I am running hooker fenderwell headers, so I need a manual master cylinder. Does anyone know what master cylinder I should use? Do I need a proportioning valve? THANKS

Ask for a 70 Vette none power. It has large reservors front and back (pot belly) 1" bore.

Big bore is not used when going for a non power set up. They appling pressure to the calipers will be less. 11/8" bore no no, 1" yes.

The MC on the car should be fine. I am running on set up the exact same way on my 57 and having no problems.
