tail light tec help

putting together a 56 chevy truck, installed some new tail lights but will not turn on, nor will they when i depress the brake. all fuses check out and everything is getting power. bad ground maybe?? any help is appreciated thanks

 

Are you wired thru a signal light switch?

Bad ground or no ground...

 

im thinking i might have to run a ground from each light to the frame because they are getting power just wont turn the damn bulbs on...
