    Those are some great pics!

  3. Were you the one that I said to check the search out for the paint on that green, gold, white car. Gene Winfield do***entation of him spraying it, heres the link. Lots of pictures of Genes workshop in Langley and then the Painting of the Chevy by Gene and then the Langley show and then the open house at Top Ten Customs. One of the best 5 days of my life. Except I dropped my camera in my brothers melted Ice box. It sat submerged for over 45 minutes. I set it out in the sun and two days later, it was dry and its still the cheap camera I use to this day LOL!! It was great meeting you!!

  4. I have to say if you look at my pictures, it almost looks like there weren't many people. Don't let the pictures fool you, it was packed!!!! I just can't believe that all I had to do is hold up my cheap camera up and people would stop dead in their tracks. Very courteous people at car shows. I have alot of fun with people at these gatherings. Oh I have to go back and delete a picture that isn't really Hamb friendly, well it is but it isn't. I sort of feel bad for the people. so for those that saw it, you won't see it again. If this was a couple that visit the HAMB, sorry it was bad judgement to post it and I took it upon myself to delete it. Sorry.
Now this picture I won;t delete. LOL )

Great pics. Thanks for posting. Looks like I am going to have to put an amber fog light on the front of my '32.

I was at Mission at the races but on the way home the local news was talking about a "shooting at a car show south of Seattle". I just ***umed maybe the Goodguys show but they never said.
edit: read about the shooting a couple pages further on.

"Shley" looks like her bra is too small. I'd be willing to help her get the proper size. :)

  8. It was $18 and $$6 for kids. I asked if I could be a kid, she said sure and charged me $18. Doh!!I guess I don't look 12 anymore. I'm not complaining at all, just pointing out it isn't $6unless you are 12 or under.

    23rd Pacific Northwest Nationals
    July 23-25
    Puyallup Fair & Events Center:
    General admission: $18
    Kids 7-12 $6

I didn't take it as complaining , I just rememebed the other post on pricing by KIRK (from Goodguys) and my trying to decide whether to go as a spectator or not. I give them credit for building the empire and promoting the car hobby to what they have. They give us the 2 biggest events alone here in the Pacific Northwest and all of that promoting and the cost of organizing and putting the show on just keeps getting more expensive. :)

Great pictures, I thought I was going to be there this year but that didn't happen. Next year I'll be there with my roadster.

  13. Nor did I think you were complaining. I just was printing something factual. No more than that.
Glad everyone likes the pictures. :)

Nice batch of photos, thanks for sharing them with us. Especially those of us who didn't get to go for one reason or another.

  15. Met a few HAMBERS that I didn't know just in talking. Dirty Dug walked around with me for a bit and told me where his car, Rolphs car and Uncle Bucks car. All top notch cars. Dirty Dugs is about the truest traditioal hotrod that really stand out to me as one of the best. Uncle Bucks 1936 Roadster is also pretty damned fine as were Rolphs old and new car!!!

Heck, going back to grab these pictures and seeing all the cars, they are all worthy of getting compliments!! Sorry for anyone else that I didn't get pictures of their cars. I didn't even go in any of the buildings!!! Now I wish we could have stayed longer and snapped a few more pictures!!

If you would have stayed later, you could have taken pictures of the ******s that were working the crowd at the dance Saturday night.

  24. Hey Richard, if you arent doing anything , I really could use your professional advise. I have opened pandoras box on the 1936 and would appreciate a look at it. Could you call me? Thanks in advance!!

The shootings (11 went to the hospital) happened at a Low Rider show 20 miles north of GG. Papers claim it was over a sarcastic comment about a paint job but a friend who was there said it was gang related and had very little to do with cars.

Its a good thing I borrowed your last $50.00 to go get a coffee and donut. If you would have had any more money you'd have been in big trouble when you got home.:D
