    Let's see...a 1932 Chevrolet sedan. I was 9 years old, and that would have been 1962.

    ha ha great topic for me...I was working at a car wash in Troy Ohio and a guy brought in a 55 Chevrolet w/ a 3 on the tree that was interesting to say the least! The next day a guy brought in a new corvette. Of course I was only 16 and I told them when I got the job that I knew how to drive a stick!

    1967 GTO and I still have it in my brother's garage in California. He is not into cars (surf) but he goes out and starts it once a month for me. I promised him 17 years ago I was on my way to get it but somehow or another .........

    At age 13 I drove a 55 XK 140. Yes, I killed the engine the first time, and tore up some gr*** the second try, then it was smooth sailing. Today, I love my five speed.

    Not a car but first time I drove a standard was a M***ey Harris tractor when I was 10 years old.

    vauxhall viva van,then my mini,my cortina,my camaro,most cars are manual here in england,prefer auto myself as i have bad knees

    by the way we have a driving test for manual and one for auto here,if you p*** in manual you can drive an auto but not the other way around
