Cool sound track and great early pictures... Looses the plot when it hits the current stuff though! Kinda sad when you think about it, the old stuff makes you say "YES!!!", and the new stuff could never be as cool.

Not for "us" anyway! The cool part (if you will) is that all of us started somewhere, and I would dare to say there were many of us that cut our teeth on the technology of "the day". Very few of us were around in the "good ol' days" of post-war hot rodding's infancy.

Today's stuff has it's advantages for "new rodders" in that you get really good hp AND mpg. Styling is questionable, but it's what's selling. AND the aftermarket is flooded with bolt-on go-fast goodies!

    To each their own. At least there's a p***ion for cars....and where there's p***ion, there's hope!

  8. That is probably the coolest thing anyone has said on the HAMB. There is good and bad in everything!

  9. I sold my last Chevy I had two days ago. My first car when I was 16 was a Chevy and I have owned atleast one ever since. Feels different now not owning one now.

Absolutely agreed. I just thought it was a shame that none of the new stuff could make the blood pump as quickly as the old footage... Damn shame they don't have lots full of '57 Chevy two door post cars or '59 'Vettes for sale at the dealer today, 'cause I'd be there with this ad!

awesome commercial. Kinda hit's home as my first Chevy is my 54. And I agree, the new stuff is horrid.

I knew EXACTLY what you meant! But, if EVERYONE was like us, would we be "us"? Think about it.....(I don't expect an answer, just a "what if....")

Cool commercial. But whenever I see those timelines of cars it really makes me realize how much STYLE theyve lost.

I was the same way, I was all excited, but when it started showing the 80s, 90s, and modern cars it was just like "aww"

  14. The first 3/4 of the commercial is what got my attention. I thought it looked like something that somebody on here would have made, music and all.
