Hey, my name is Derek and I hail from Sin City. Not the greatest town for traditional style stuff, but it's growning. My p***ion is split between old VW busses and rods/customs. So I'm buliding a vehicle that blends both styles. I'm married and have two small kids so my time and budget is limited. I work as a bellman at a strip hotel and have lives in Vegas for 30 years. My other interest are fast music and dirty girls. My current project is a 67 hardtop deluxe VW bus. Now I realize I'll get a bunch of ****, but that's OK. Alot of the VW "stock nazis" already have giving me tons of grief but I'm not easily offended. This thing is turning out *****in. I whacked the top 6 inches (the right way by splitting the roof into 5 sections), shaved everything, bagged it and loading it with kool trim items. Oh did I mention that it's blown!!!. Yea it's got a **** Landy blower sticking up through the rear floor. This thing is loud and impracticle but that's what makes it so sweet. Anyway I'll post some pix as soon as I figure this site out. OK, heres a reintroduction. I recently picked up a 50 Buick moredoor fastback. Very complete. Very straight, Very not-rusty. Super excited to get into another area of the hobby.
