54 chevy chop.

Im planing to do a mild chop on my 54 chevy 2 door sedan . My plan is to chop it about 2inch. So the question is can I use a 2 door hardtop window
since that is 2 inch lower than the sedan window,and make the chop fit the window??

well... don't know about 53-54's, but on 1950 - 1952's the hardtop windshield has a different curve to it and wouldn't work.

 

i am curious about this because it sure would take the nail biting nervousness out of having to buy a new sedan window and hope it doesnt crack when cutting it down only 2 inches.
