Let me guess, PBR in there? For some reason your garage doesn't say Old English. :D

I have a carport, but one day it will grow up into a real garage.

Just so you know there was some guy threatening your project with a hammer when you took the garage pic.

Hope you catch the hell raiser!

Finally got a house with a garage. Not moved in yet but closing on it this month!! Very very excited. Its a ranch home that was built in '54 with this detached garage, which i'm very very thankful for! Once I get moved in i'll post some more pics. Great looking garages guys. I feel the pain of the guys with no garages, this is going to be my first, once again, very thankful.

its was new in 02 24X24 built by the Amish.

I've done some landscaping since then. Some sheet rock and paneling inside they sure fill up quick. I keep my 2-20ft Mopars out there. :p

Kiwi Kev, Is that a garage or shrine?
Awesome! You have your own swap meet.
Like the fab shop area too. keeps the cuttings and mess localized.

I never tire of KiwiKev's shop pics. Don't worry Mr. Kiwi I'm not casing the joint. Just a harmless stalker. :)

About 26'x20', brick with a concrete slab roof at 10'. I had it built to my design a few years ago, attached to a house I'm letting for now. I still don't have it installed etc. but it's somewhere to put my stuff until my fortunes improve.

The sliding pallet system allows me to wheel cars sideways on steel pallets running on rails in the troughs, because I've only got 8' of access width to work with. It works a lot better than I thought it would! I'll make up some wooden "dead" pallets to stick in the troughs eventually, to make for a more practical floor.

  20. It's not a competition! I like to share because I know you meatheads like the same stuff I do. I would like to see others post more pic's. Come on Ol 55. I know you have some nice pics of your setup. There are more pics of mine in the garage gallery over at Garage Journal.

My old shop before I built the new one. My first shop was a tree branch with dirt floor.

There's an awful lot of nice garages in this thread so far...but I think Kiwi Kev wins...

EDIT: Sorry Kev, missed your last post.

If RoyalShifter gets in on this, minds will be blown haha.

I'm currently moving into a new rental property, first time I'll have had a garage to myself! Pretty excited about it.

Jeff, good eye! I cheat and have TWO garages, "messy" garage I've been working at cleaning all morning so I can paint the Diamond T soon. I can now see the ENTIRE bench!

It's got glass doors from a service station too, which I like. Once the truck is done, I want (need, actually) to side or repaint the building, which is 28x48, and do it up like a service station.

Kiwi.. Love the wall art! I passed on a vintage counter display a couple of months ago at a garage sale, for $60.00.. I keep kicking myself
    for that.. Now, even harder..

We built our detached garage to match our house almost 9 years ago.
Wanted a 2 car, but the city zoning wouldn't allow it. So we did a
one car, with a 12.5' ceiling, to add a four post lift. Well, the lift
never got bought, the house went under a massive reno,
and the cars never got put into the garage due to all of the saws,
and lumber and overflow from the house. Now, the house has
sold, and we are moving out of town. So I might actually get a
garage to put cars in.. The side opening was for the glass
garage door that we scored out of a dumpster from a restaurant
that was closing down. High rise kits, makes the doors go straight
up, instead of back over your head, leaving clearance for the
lift (that was never bought) and two cars.
